Tony and I met at Whitechapel Boots and it was a mess it was loss making and dysfunctional. Together we made it the best and most profitable Boots in the UK.
Tony was a great people manager and pharmacist, one of the nicest men I’ve ever worked with. We had great fun together, including going skiing
I think the nicest compliment we got, after 30 years, was to be invited by all the old staff to a great reunion a few years ago.
Maura and I send our love and deepest condolences to Ann and the family.
